Ubitex Crypto Exchange

Overview:

Ubitex is a Persian-language cryptocurrency exchange. The engagement is an ongoing freelance frontend refactor of a live, in-production financial product, where every change touches real user balances and real trades rather than a sandboxed demo environment.

My Role:

Freelance frontend developer, engaged directly by the platform to refactor and extend its existing UI, design system, and notification infrastructure while the exchange remained live and operational.

Challenges & Achievements:

•       Built a custom ub-* Tailwind design-token system to keep spacing, color, and radius values consistent across dozens of components as the app grew.

•       Designed and implemented a full notification system covering 7 distinct notification types, animated with Motion and persisted across sessions via localStorage/sessionStorage, integrated with a floating top banner that shifts page offsets.

•       Delivered SEO and metadata coverage across roughly 45 routes.

•       Resolved a recurring set of responsive-design issues across breakpoints, with tablet layouts a particular focus.

•       Rendered market data through server-side rendering (SSR) and tuned component re-render behavior against the Markets API so continuously updating prices stay smooth rather than jittery on screen.

•       Delivered full redesigns of the About Us page and a new /platform route.

•       Configured secured Docker Compose environments for PostgreSQL and SQL Server to support staging and production parity.
