Novindex — Digital Asset Brokerage

Overview:

Novindex was, at the time, the first digital asset brokerage of its kind in Iran, requiring an original approach to presenting live market data clearly to first-time users, with no established local product to benchmark against.

My Role:

Freelance frontend developer responsible for the market-data interface and overall site architecture.

Technologies:

•       Next.js (with server-side rendering)

Challenges & Achievements:

•       Designed the information architecture and UI for live market data (prices, spreads, order flow) from first principles, with no established local competitor to reference.

•       Integrated a Markets API and tuned component re-render behavior so continuously updating prices across multiple simultaneous instruments stay smooth rather than jittery.

•       Implemented server-side rendering (SSR) for SEO and to prevent broken or empty states before market data arrives.

•       Maintained reliable data models via TypeScript as the platform's range of tradable assets expanded quickly.

•       Used Docker to keep environments consistent through a fast-moving, frequently changing build.
